On Tuesday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 13, 2024, the Ministry of Finance, Japan will hold a two-day symposium titled, "The global economy and policy coordination in a time of increasingly complex global challenges."
The world is seeing an increase in geopolitical risk due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine and other conflicts, and a subsequent increase in global economic risk due to threats to food and energy security and increased financial instability.
With these issues in mind, this international symposium will invite experts from various countries to discuss the issues that Japan and other countries should grapple, and to discuss new means of coordinating policy, with a focus on international economics and finance.
Please join us and listen to experts' and policy makers' sincere discussion about how to interpret and resolve the issues the world faces.
* Each session details and participating panelists will be updated.
